Citadel Blend is a happy union of three teas:

- a Fengqing Black Tea which pumps up the fruity and floral sweetness
- a Yunnan Dian Hong which creates a bolder and chocolatier brew
The result is a sweet and well balanced tea with many interesting qualities that is perfect hot, cold, and gongfu.
This tea is the basis for our favourite summer iced tea – the refreshing ‘Georgia Peach’ Tea!
$14.00 for 50 grams (equals 20-25 cups of tea)

Melon Vine – Green Tea
Kukicha is a type of Japanese Green Tea made from the stems of the tea plant, creating a sweet and gentle tea with a grassy freshness and a fruity sweetness like melons.
Melon Vine is a type of Kukicha called Sencha Karigane which is a title reserved for the highest quality Kukicha. Almond Flower – White Tea
Almond Flower is a White Tea from the Himalayas with the nutty aroma of fresh shaved almonds and subtle grassy sweetness. The liquor is tied together with a buttery texture.
As a side note, to explain White Tea a little bit, this type of tea does not undergo a “Kill Green” process which means it never really stops oxidizing. This is what separates White Tea apart from other teas and why some people like to store White Tea in order to age it.
Origin: Deumai Municipality, Ilam, Nepal
Producer: Ucchapahadi Tea Producer Cooperative
Organically farmed
$14.00 for 50 grams (equals 20-25 cups of tea)

Wild Side – Oolong Tea
Take a walk on the Wild Side. Bright and fresh with notes of corn, flowers and mint, this tea is a tea you can get lost in. Though we consider it an Oolong Tea, it may be closer to a Green Tea, despite being called a Black Tea. This is a Nepalese “Green-ish Black Tea” which attempts to imitate the Darleelings we see on the market, with even less oxidation. The result is a weird tea to classify, but for the sake of simplicity, it’s called Oolong.
Origin: Deumai Municipality, Ilam, Nepal
Producer: Ucchapahadi Tea Producer Cooperative
Organically farmed
$12.00 for 50 grams (equals 20-25 cups of tea)

Smokestacks – Lapsang Souchong (smoked black Tea)
A smoky and sweet tea with an underlying chocolatey and sweet character.
Like a bonfire in a cup! Smokestacks is a Lapsang Souchong, a type of Chinese Black Tea that is typically smoked over pine trees, resulting in a smoky flavour. When done properly, this flavour compliments the underlying sweetness of the Black Tea beneath it.
A must try for those seeking a good Lapsang Souchong or a very uniquely flavoured black tea.
Origin: Tongmuguan, Fujan, China
This tea is the foundation of one of our favourite cafe drinks, our Campfire Cappuccino!
$18.00 for 50 grams (equals 20-25 cups of tea)

Lavender Lemon Bomb! – Herbal Tea Blend

Wintergreen – Herbal Tea
If you grew up in North America, you might be familiar with a plant many called “Root Beer Plant” due to its uncanny aroma of root beer when you split these leaves open.
This Wintergreen, Gaultheria Procumbens, is a locally foraged plant which brews up slightly minty and sweet, very much like root beer. Absolutely delicious and refreshing, especially when iced!
$18.00 for 50 grams (equals 20-25 cups of tea)

There’s not too much to explain about this one, since everyone is familiar with mint. The mint is all grown in Halifax on a little plot of land and picked and processed by the same person who forages many of my tisanes.
This is a blend of three mints:
- Spearmint
- Peppermint
- Chocolate Mint (which is a cultivar of Peppermint)
$20.00 for 50 grams (equals 20-25 cups of tea)

How Much Tea Do I Get from a 50g Bag?
You might be wondering: “How many cups can I brew with one of these 50g bags of loose-leaf teas?”
Here’s the scoop (literally!):
💡 On average, 1 teaspoon of loose-leaf tea = 2–2.5 grams
That means a 50g bag will make about 20 to 25 cups of tea!
Of course, your cup count might vary slightly depending on how strong you like your brew or if you re-steep your leaves (psst… many of our teas are great for a second steep!).
So go ahead—brew, sip, and repeat. 🫖✨
