Mother’s Day Tea (May 9th)

Join us for a beautiful and relaxed afternoon of tea, treats, and springtime charm at the Trenton Station Pavilion.

Our Mother’s Day Tea is a thoughtfully curated outdoor gathering designed to celebrate the special women in our lives. Set under the covered pavilion, this intimate event offers a welcoming and elegant atmosphere where guests can slow down, connect, and enjoy the simple pleasures of the season.

Guests will enjoy a selection of teas, dainty finger sandwiches, and a variety of sweet and savoury bite-sized treats. Fresh floral bouquets and a collection of lovely local goods will also be available to browse and purchase, adding to the experience.

Each guest will receive a small take-home gift as a keepsake from the afternoon.

Whether you are celebrating with your mother, grandmother, daughter, a dear friend, or simply treating yourself, we invite you to join us for a meaningful and memorable gathering.

Trenton Station Maker’s Market (July 8th)

An Evening of Art, Craft & Community

Join us for a vibrant and creative evening at the Trenton Station Maker’s Market—an artisan-focused market celebrating the incredible talent of local makers and artists.

Held under the covered pavilion at Trenton Station and alongside Express Yourself Café, this evening market offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where visitors can browse handcrafted goods, connect with local creators, and enjoy a warm summer night in the heart of Trenton.

As part of the opening day of Trenton’s beloved Fun Fest week, this special market brings together art, community, and culture to kick off the festivities.

Evening Express: NFB Short Film Fest

(August 18th & 25th)

🎬 Evening Express: Games, Music & NFB Short Films
✨ Two Wednesday Nights of films at Trenton Station!

Join us for a fun and cozy evening with cottage games, music and a film screening of National Film Board short films at Trenton Station, hosted by Express Yourself Café! These free community fun & film nights are perfect for all ages. Play some fun family games, grab a pizza slice at Sam’s Pizza with your EYC ticket, bring a lawn chair, grab some popcorn and a drink at the cafe, and settle in for a heartwarming and hilarious slice of Canadian animation history.

🎞Tuesday, August 18 & 25 (Total runtime: approx. ~60 mins each)

🕰 Evening Schedule (Both Nights):

  • Café reopens at 7:00 PM
  • (Pre-Show Events) 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
    • Inquire at concession window for an ‘Evening Express: Pizza Special’ ticket to be redeemed at Sam’s Pizza (Trenton).
    • Popcorn, drinks, and treats will be available at the Café for purchase
    • Fun Cottage Games for fun family play. Games include: Spyder Ball, Funnel Ball, Yard Pong, and Toss Accross (Made available for FREE through Trenton Parks & Recreations “Go Play – Pictou County Equipment Loan Program”)
    • Try your hand at Disc Golf Putting at our EYC Disc Golf Net
    • Enjoy Live Music by local Musicians, TBA – and if you like what you hear, feel free to tip and show your support!
  • Seating begins at 8:00 PM – remember to bring your own lawn chairs and blankets for comfort
  • Films start at dusk (approx. 8:30–8:40 PM)
